Introducing Audience Quotas

Get the perfect participant mix for your research studies with Audience Quotas

Introducing Audience Quotas

Recruiting a diverse, balanced sample shouldn't mean juggling multiple projects or spreadsheets.

Whether you're running a usability test or market research, Audience Quotas help you recruit the right mix - without the hassle.

What are Audience Quotas?

Audience Quotas give you control over who joins your study, so your research reflects your true objectives. You can:

  • Cap specific groups by age, gender, education, ethnicity, or location
  • Avoid over-recruiting from any one segment
  • Build demographic balance without launching separate projects

Example: Want 50 participants split evenly by gender? Or a healthy spread across age groups? When you build your project, set your quotas, and Respondent will take care of the rest.

How it Works

Audience Quotas are built into the project creation flow:

  1. Start a new project
Make sure your project is either Unmoderated or a Survey (only these project types are supported). You’ll also need to enable Auto-Invite.
  2. Go to the “Quotas” section
Set your demographic filter. Choose between age, gender, ethnicity or location.
  3. Set your limits
Add percentages or participant counts - your choice.
  4. Publish
Respondent will invite participants until you’ve met your invite quota
